Is it better to proceed to make these types of walls or make the other ones where you need the framing?

AFAIK

These are adept for beating, so perimeter wall or something that ordinarily takes beating or is expected to. Costs more = withstands more than

Normal walls are "pretty" so yous employ them for house because that wont (should not exist) be getting damaged. Costs less = withstands less

level 2

They have 100hp by default but maybe the lvl 3 walls become college? If anything metal probably would be all-time but I don't know their health values and metalworking is a more than boring skill to level

If you don't mind the walls looking a chip scuffed you can make windowed walls and put planks over the windows. This allows you to replace the planks when they break and you lot wont roll the die on a wall merely having a couple hits left on it. Between wooden walls and log walls it really just comes down to what y'all recollect looks better and what materials yous have readily bachelor. If a hoard is crashing your base of operations it really wont affair what yous build it out of and when information technology comes to the loan zombie that is pounding away I've withal to come across a noticeable difference betwixt the ii.

Pseudonymous Ed posted an article a while ago, but it should still be somewhat relevant in the recent build. Personally I've abandoned log walls for high carpentry xp framed walls. Check out Ed's How Strong Is That Wall and compare for yourself.

Wow! This is good info! Then long log walls! (My character is like level 9 carpentry)

level one

Find some gated community with ii blocks height fences, they are indestructible by zombies on default, and all you need is to build some gates and four or five wooden walls at most. Plus don't put all the furrows so shut, exit one block infinite between them, similar this

P( )P( )P

( )P( )P( )

P( )P( )P

so the disease won't spread amongst corps.

level 2

Disease needs 2 Blocks to not spread.

level 2

I'll be certain to do that next fourth dimension

level 2

I usually do blocks or rows.

PP()()PP

PP()()PP

()()()()()()

()()()()()()

PP()()PP

PP()()PP

level 2

Disease needs 2 blocks to jot spread, so there's really no reason to non put them adjacent unless you accept tons of infinite.

In the early levels of carpentry, those are the meliorate ones. After on y'all tin can build a metal frame, put a level 1 wooden wall on it and so upgrade it twice for the maximum possible HP of 1400.

Log walls have (I think) 1000 HP, then they're very practiced besides unless you really want to get the maximum possible protection.

level 2

^ this is the correct answer ^

level 1

You could use the fence and crates thing, would be indestructible, it wouldnt expect that pretty tho

level 2

Is there whatever benefit? Similar is it stronger since its logs instead of planks?

i setup my base in a secluded upper class neighborhood out in the center of nowhere in west point. If the big sea is the n then you want to go east till you reach a giant lake. Really amazing spot with no zombies, water everywhere with everything you need. I bulldoze into town if i want to see zombies. I think i found 1 of the expressionless zones of the map where no affair how much dissonance you make nothing comes.
